Hepointedoutjockeystravellingtojump-outsatcountryvenuescanbeasmuchas$300outofpocketbythetimetravel,fuelcostsandtheirtimeistakenintoaccount。

Basterconcedesthetopfiveto10jockeysarewellcompensated,whilehehasacomfortableliving,buttherearealsonumerouscosts。

Outoftheir$200ridingfeeandthefivepercentofprizemoneyearnedtheypaytheirmanagers12。
